Personality:

Annelise is a friendly enough witch although she tends to prefer reading and art, to social interaction. That being said, she is not completely anti-social and can often be found telling funny stories, that usually involve something strange happening to her. In recent years, she has combined her love for magic and art by creating tea sets and other ceramics, then enchanting the pictures on them to come alive. Annelise's favourite classes in school are history, charms and divination, though the last one is really because of her adoration of the pretty teacups in the classroom. She has an unusual fascination with colour, and believes that each colour has it’s own special meaning and properties associated with it. This strange obsession often drives people away, especially when she goes on for hours about the emotional values that different colours have. It also gives her trouble in potions class, as she tends to be mesmerized by the colours of her potion forgetting to do the next step in. Annelise also is terrified of thunderstorms and will hide under her bed or a table, refusing to come out when one occurs.

History:

Annelise was born in Somerset Village, Bermuda to Margaret Hamilton and Alan Hamilton. They lived there happily until Annelise was four. Bermuda was struck with a hurricane, destroying their house (the main reason why Annelise is so afraid of thunderstorms). Instead of rebuilding in Bermuda, the Hamilton’s decided to move to England to start again. They ended up settling in Edgware, England, where Mrs. Hamilton opened up a small bakery and Mr. Hamilton begun work in a law firm. Annelise attended public school until she was eleven, having received her Hogwarts letter by then. She was very excited to discover she was a witch, and her parents have loved and supported her as she attended Hogwarts. Annelise’s aunt’s family live in London not far from her, and she often visits them with her family over the Christmas holidays.

Random Fact: People think that Annelise wears contacts but her blue eyes are her natural colour. A common trait among Bermudian people is blue eyes with dark skin.
